Audi....真令我又爱又恨

Sometimes I really feel that my butt is too itchy to part with BEBE months ago.

I must admit that Dear and I have been enjoying the ride for the past months (not that BEBE is not good, but Ms Audi is really much better)...but when come to annual servicing, I feel like killing myself. $$$ hurts. I sounded so stingy here. Ops.

For the last few days, I was busy running errands for this lady, Ms Audi.

- Windscreen cracked due to unknown reason. Wonder which birdie throw a stone at me on the highway...I must get Benji to play "Angry Bird" more often to take revenge for me.

Solution: Went to claim insurance from NTUC after confirming that no impact on my NCD and just paid S$ 107 for the new windshield. =D

- After replacing new windscreen, the workshop uncle didn't fix my reverse camera properly. Keep droping every few hours.

Solution: Went homefix to buy some adhesive tape to DIY- failed. Went to buy some black tape to tape the surrounding areas to secure the camera- failed. Went to ADK (the one who sold me the reverse camera) and paid S$10 for the labour work to glue it up - failed as it dropped the next day. Luckily, ADK's owner, Mr Alan, has agreed to make good for the camera for me. I have scheduled this to be done when Dear and I returned from Indo Land.

- Annual Car servicing. I spent a total of $1,600 for a day for Ms Audi car servicing!!!! Arghhh...$$ fly away. I have no solution for this "carrot" as I was told that I need to pay a higher price to enjoy the extra comfort it fetch. To console myself, I told myself that I have at least save from the high COE, expensive real estate and I have a decent pay. I should be disciplined enough to avoid expensive indulgence for the next 1 months and see if I can save back the amount. >_<

"I am out of Calendar, but still within 4D...."Sobz

My birthday celebrations started last Friday...and I am really glad that all of them REMEMBERED my birthday =D Had so much fun & laughters in office (and after office). Super lucky that the bosses are not in. Lol

Among all gifts, I would like to mention that I am really surprised by Dear for his effort to buy me a gift despite his busy schedule. I have been thinking that he would bring me out to shop for my gift on Sunday ....
I must say that Dear really have very good taste for choosing the PRADA wallet for me. I love it soo much...(The devil loves prada....hohoho) nice colour & very good to safekeep all my cash and cards in a compact way. (Though Benji has leaked out his surprise abit too early....hahahah) & Benji was upset that he do not have his birthday present during his announcement.

On Sunday, 13th Jan 2013, I have the honour to taste Dear cooking again. He has polished up the "pig trotters" bee hoon and this time I rated it 100/100. I wonder why I don't have such talent in the kitchen.....?!? However, God blessed me having such a nice & talented husband to grow old together. =P
Not only I have the Super delicious bee hoon, but I also have Chef Hooi's steak on Sunday....Yummyz.

我只吃饭不煮饭，老公只煮饭不洗碗！

By the way, why am I out of calendar and still within 4D? Sobz...This is what I heard from my colleague when I blew the cake. She said: "Calendar only has 31 days and you are now.....out of range! No worries, you are still within 4D selections...." Alamak! They are indeed my "meannie" colleagues. Haha. Bet I am getting wiser, prettier each year ahead.

1st Birthday Lunch ^_^

As usual, our lunch are filled with fun & laughters. Lots of funny moments and lots of candid shots....

 

Maricel told me her photography skills are getting better as I look alot slimmer today. Is it her skills or my hardwork for the past few days? I have been swimming 10 laps every alternate day recently. My new colleague, Joelle, told me I am just 28.... ^_^

 

I am looking forward to the new year with a healthier me. Cheers 2013!

I am the ALARM CLOCK!

I am always the lazy bum to laze on bed in the morning...before heading to office!

Something hilarous happened today.
When my phone ALARM clock rings for the 2nd time, (I usually set it for ringing @ 6.50am and 7.15am), Dear pressed his palm on my face! On MY FACE....FULL PALM gently pressing on my FACE. I believed he must be still in his dreamland ....and extremely tired.

After washing up, I asked him if he is aware of what he did. He chuckled. @_@

Omaseke @ Turf City

 

We woke up so late on a Saturday morning and have decided to venture to Turf City for our brunch. Dear suggest to visit Omaseke and I am totally satisfied with the food served! Very yummy food but it is against my new year's plan of "dieting". Dear said it was the only relaxing weekend he had for FY2013 ...I better treasure it.

 

Went for an afternoon swim due to my guilt of the above. I swam 5 laps only thinking that it should be enough to shed off the calories I added earlier. HAHA.

 

Dear tried his hands on the "pig trotters" bee hoon that my mum used to cook for us....and I rated it 85/100.  Delicious.... However, he said it can be further improved on his next try. (Think he want to retire as a michelin chef??)



 

We had a busy Sunday as we ran a few errands since early morning. Guess what? We saw RT at the hair salon @ Bedok South. Dear said he forgot to thank him for what he did...else he wouldn't have a lovely wife named Helen. *Sweet* HAHA. So mean....but I like. =D

I am feeling emotional this morning...perhaps due to the side effects of Serophene. =(
Am not sure if I should stop taking it immediately and hence, I googled to find out more details about it....

These side effects usually go away a few days or weeks after treatment is stopped. However, in rare cases, vision changes may be permanent. Welcome to 2013!

 

I am so blessed that Dear specially prepared the chilli crab for us on 1.1.2013. What a good start...

There are numerous conditions attached to cooking this crab and I went through a roller coaster ride for this. =D

 

We both planned to get fitter in the coming year and LET'S SEE.....
